Transportation Technology Center
NexGen has a Memorandum of Understanding with ENSCO, Inc., operator of the FRA’s Transportation Technology Center in Pueblo, Colorado, for a 12-month lease, renewable annually for up to five more years.
- A ~7,600 sq ft Rail maintenance building to design, build and test our full-scale LNG Gas Turbine–Generator Prime Mover
- Access to the largest railway test facility in the world: 52 square miles and more than 50 miles of test track
- Instrumented test-track trials on a 6-axle, 4,000 hp AC locomotive, measured against a diesel-electric baseline
